“Just One More” – Booze

Has anything good ever come from saying just one more to a beer? For me, the answer is simply no. One more leads to a second one more, then a third, followed by something reckless—like ending up in the ICU after crashing a scooter, getting angry at the people you love most, and waking up filled with guilt, remorse, and regret once the booze wears off. Saying just one more to a drink affects most of us from time to time—sometimes it’s just a hangover, but sometimes it’s something much worse. So, I’m challenging myself to recognize just one more at the very first just one more—and change it to water, please… and maybe some cheese curds.
